How To Develop Healthy Coping Mechanisms Through Mood Journal

It's okay to feel.

It's okay if you're sad. It's okay if you're angry. It's okay if you're frustrated, anxious, or any of the other emotions that come up when something doesn't go your way.

But it's not okay to let those feelings take over your life. Here are some ways to cope with the things that happen in our lives that we can't control:

1. Be kind to yourself—no matter what happens, don't forget that you're amazing!

2. Find something that makes you happy, and do it regularly (exercise, reading a book, etc.)

3. Identify your triggers and write them down so you know what they are when they happen again in the future!

4. If something bad happens and you don't know what to do next, try talking about it with someone else who has experienced something similar—they might have good advice for how to approach things differently next time around!

5. Remind yourself of the good stuff. Happy memories. Surprises. Treats. And happy thoughts that you're going to enjoy something fun, no matter what's going on in your life.
